This week’s economic data is relatively sparse. Instead, financial markets will focus on monetary policy-related events in both the United States and Europe. Locally, Fed Governors Stanley Fischer and Lael Brainard will be speaking on Monday afternoon at separate conferences, one sponsored by the National Association of Business Economists and the other by the Institute of International Bankers.
