This week’s data calendar is full, with economic releases scheduled for every day. Maybe, the most important indicators are the August durable goods (Wednesday) and personal income/consumption (Friday) reports. We also hear again from Fed Chair Janet Yellen, who testifies before the House Financial Services Committee on bank supervision and regulation). That said, typically, this is not the venue where the Fed Chair discusses the economy, so the testimony should be a nonevent for the financial markets.
